About us & Bonsai Aikoka

Bonsai Aikoka™ is my specialist web shop, fully focused on bonsai and the supplies that help small trees and big dreams grow. I started the shop in autumn 2021 as a natural extension of my earlier range – because bonsai deserved a place of its own.

My aim is simple: to offer a thoughtful, honest range for bonsai enthusiasts across Europe – whether you are just starting out or have many years of experience. This is not about trends, but about patience, dedication and love for living things.

Focus and know-how

I want to make it easy to find everything that belongs to the art of bonsai – without noise or needless distractions. That is why you will only find products that really matter for growing bonsai: seeds, pots, growing media and selected tools. All my seeds come from one established German specialist supplier who takes care of all the required approvals.

Customer service with roots

Bonsai Aikoka is not a big e-commerce machine. It is me, Jens – and I see you as a person too. That is why I value personal advice and quick, clear answers. I answer most emails within 24 hours, often sooner. I am also happy to help after your purchase, for example with sowing or choosing a growing medium.

Learning and improving

The shop and the range keep developing, and I learn something new every day. If you spot a mistake, I would love to hear from you. And if you like something, please tell others – it means more than you think.

Ethical awareness

I cannot save the world, but I can take responsibility in small ways. That is why I use recyclable packaging, as little plastic as possible and reuse materials where it makes sense.

Room for nature

Plants and wildlife matter a great deal to me. I support initiatives for biodiversity and only sell seeds that have been collected legally and ethically.

Respect for people

When I can choose Fairtrade, I do. When I can work with people in sheltered workshops, I do. For me it is about decency at every step – including the ones you do not see straight away.

From the heart

Bonsai Aikoka means “lover of bonsai” – and that is exactly what I am. I hope you can feel that as you look around my small digital world. Welcome – and thank you for stopping by.
